It is with great vision that our District has entered into a new era of leadership development, with the setting up of our new own Lions Leadership Institute (LLI), which was unanimously approved and adopted by all delegates attending the 16th District Convention held in Singapore.

LLI will be instrumental in providing a comprehensive and encompassing platform from which we can identify and bring forth the leaders of tomorrow to improve and strengthen the dynamism and spirit of Lionism in our District. As our leaderships’ capabilities and skills improve at both Clubs and District levels, more meaningful and rewarding projects and activities can be undertaken. This in turn will encourage more public to support and collaborate with our movement, and thereby strengthen our service for those less fortunate.
I sincerely hope that by setting of this LLI, more Lions will come forward to support the Institute which I believe will further improved and enhanced both our leadership and membership qualities.

I wish to congratulate PDG Lee Boon Hoe for being elected as the first Chairperson and for having the passion to establish the LLI webpage, , which will soon have outstanding resources and extensive information on leadership development and for the archiving of records pertaining to the important leadership goals of our District.

Please allow me to express in advance my deepest and heartfelt gratitude to all who have volunteered to be involved in LLI who in their own rights are leaders too.

Together in service,
