Thank you PDG Lee Boon Hoe for taking up the initiative to set up a website for our Lions Leadership Institute for District 308 B2. The idea of setting up the Lions Leadership Institute for District 308 B2 was mooted in Year 2013 when PDG Lee Boon Hoe was then the District Governor of the day. A protem committee headed by the then 1st Vice District Governor Ooi Chao Syhuan was formed.

The Protem Committee had a few meetings to discuss on the formation of the Lions Leadership Institute, the structure of the Committee, the objectives of the institute, standardization of training materials, recruitment and training of facilitators, funds of the institute and so on.

Finally, the resolution of setting up the Lions Leadership Institute was endorsed by the delegates during the last District Convention in Singapore and IPDG Lee Boon Hoe was elected as Chairperson for a two-year term (2014 - 2016).

With the setting up Lions Leadership Institute in our district, we will expect the leadership quality to be improved gradually and membership quality to be further improved. We need the compassionate Lions leaders to impart their knowledge and share their experience when they are called upon.

Have a good start and we shall excel together.

We Serve.
